Patrick joined WTI in 2012. Prior to WTI, Patrick worked at Pinnacle Ventures where he was the lead partner on a number companies including Chegg.com (CHGG), Quidsi (Amazon), DropCam (Google/Nest), Flixster/Rotten Tomatoes (Warner Bros.), JBoss (RedHat), Pandora Media (P), Pentaho (HDS) and Zipcar (ZIP). Before that he was with JPMorgan Partners where he led the software investment practice and was the partner on VMWare (VMW), PentaSafe (NetIQ) and Tidal Software (Cisco). Prior to JPMorgan Partners, Patrick helped start Access Technology Partners, a venture fund closely affiliated with Hambrecht & Quist. And before that, Patrick oversaw the software M&A Group for Hambrecht & Quist. Earlier in his career he worked in the Restructuring Group at Merrill Lynch in both New York and London. Patrick received an undergraduate degree with Honors from Queen’s University, Canada and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
